The Continental GP Triathlon has a Vectran Breaker anti puncture belt which withstands even sharp-edged volcano ash. With a speedy slick tread pattern and tightly woven carcass, it is optimized for consistent top speeds. Indicators in the tread show the wear rate of the tyre and it has all the capability characteristics of the Grand Prix 4000 but is styled towards multisports athletes. With Continental's Black Chili compound also being a feature of this tyre, the Continental GP Triathlon sports all the latest tyre technology from Korbach, Germany.

Fit the Continental Grand Prix Supersonic, coupled with a lightweight tube and you've got the lightest and fastest tyre combination on the market at just 200g.
The Continental Grand Prix Supersonic offers exceptionally low rolling resistance that rivals that of our renowned tubulars. The tyre is now even faster thanks to the new Black Chili compound which utilises nano particles of carbon to create a molecular structure of the rubber comound which is stronger, faster amd grippier than previous compounds.
Conti's super-fine, polyamide casing combined with a thin layer of Black Chili rubber is extremely lightweight and is designed to allow high inflation pressures.
This tyre is intended for race use only in solo events, and is not recommended for road races or training rides due to its short tread life. There is no extra puncture protection with the Grand Prix Supersonic due to the lightweight construction. Riders should weigh up the compromises that they are willing to take before choosing this tyre.

The Continental Grand Prix 4000 is the star in the peloton.
For the GP4000 tyres, the activated silica compound improves the handling at stability limits and gives great rolling resistance. The anti-tear formula in the rubber compound prevents tread brittleness while increasing mileage performance. The extra special thing about the GP 4000 is the puncture protection made from Vectran™ liquid crystal fibres. The patented Vectran Breaker reconciles the conflicting goals of low weight, low rolling resistance and top puncture and cut resistance in a fascinating manner. The Vectran™ fluid crystal fibres were developed for airbag systems in the automotive and aerospace industries.
It also maintains strength in the wet.
A new anti-cracking formula prevents UV light from damaging the compound and increases the mileage performance.

Continental Touring Plus - a compact, highly elastic rubber breaker makes the Continental Touring Plus extremely resistant. Stones, glass splitters and thorns have no chance. Whatever you ride over can't break or pierce the Security Breaker layer underneath the tread. The layer strength of the Breaker is adapted to the rolling movement of the tyre. The Touring Plus remains very comfortable in spite of its protective coating and rolls and steers very lightly.

The roller tyre. With a modern roller and the Continental Ultra Sport Hometrainer in the house, winter can set in when it wants to. Thanks to its special cold-running compound, the Ultra Sport Hometrainer doesn't experience the heat buildup of a road tyre, nor does it suffer the tread separation that the road tyre is prone to under the special loads occurring when in cycling and braking on the roller's revolving drums. The Ultra Sport Hometrainer has been designed explicitly for rollers and is not suitable for on-road use.
